Gel Mattress Overlay 

The ultra light weight gel is twice the volume at half the weight of conventional gels for easier transport and setup of product and reduced shipping cost.  Mastex combines both gel and foam to help prevent tissue trauma and skin maceration.  They use only quality UL recognized vinyl with elastomeric properties.  I provides patients with a more complete system of pressure ulcer prevention.  Checkerboard surface conforms to body contours, and allows air flow channels to keep patient cool.  The gel mattress overlay reduces pressure to improve prevention and speed healing.  The gel acts as a heat sink to draw heat away from patient, contributing to a cooler, healthier surfce environment.  Durable, low-sheer nylon/polyurethane cover resists both moisture and microbial contamination.  Vapor permeable, but water impermeable.  The dimensions of the Mattress Overlay will be 76"L x 34"W x 3"H and will fit a twin size bed.
